President Dr.John Pombe Magufuli mourns the deaths of 15 in Ngara Kagera civilians who died in an accident to day.

President Dr. Magufuli said he was saddened to receive the news of the deaths of 15 people caused by a road accident after a passenger bus overturned on the Kumnyange slope in Ngara District in Kagera Region.

In his condolences to the Kagera Regional Commissioner, Brig. Jen Marco Gaguti, Dr.Magufuli has asked him to convey his condolences to the families of the deceased, relatives and friends affected by the deaths, and has prayed for all the deceased to rest in peace and for all the injured to recover quickly and reunite with their families.

"I am saddened by the deaths of our fellow Tanzanians who lost their lives in this accident, I offer my condolences to all those who lost their lives and I urge them to be patient and resilient during the difficult period of mourning," said President Magufuli.



Information pictured above is a small Coaster TATA Emirates bus with registration number T.670 DKL crashed in the steep slope of Kumuyange in Ngara district in Kagera region and killed 15 people.


In addition, President Magufuli has reminded road users, especially motorists, to adhere to all road safety rules to avoid preventable accidents.


He also called on road safety agencies to take action against road users who violate traffic rules.

 The accident that occurred today on October 24, 2020 also left 18 people injured.
